Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and optimization purposes.

Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Eat Cleanly Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Eat Cleanly app and its features
• Personalize your experience based on your dietary preferences and saved recipes
• Manage your subscription and account
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Respond to your support requests and feedback

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited data with:

• Apple, as required for App Store subscription management

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Preference data (dietary goals, allergen filters, measurement units) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account for syncing purposes.

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the app by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data, saved recipes, meal plans, and preferences. This action cannot be undone.

Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions. You must cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings before deleting your account.

7. Children's Privacy

Eat Cleanly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Third-Party Analytics

We may use third-party analytics tools to understand how the app is used. These tools collect anonymized data such as app interactions, session duration, and crash reports. This data cannot be used to personally identify you.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Eat Cleanly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
